I think that this video gets at the core of teaching with technology, because it poses the question, "What is the point of teaching technology if students can not apply their knowledge of core subjects when using it?" It is a question that technology teachers everywhere should consider.
What is the point of teaching history if students cannot apply their knowledge of core subjects when using it? What is the point of teaching mathematics if students cannot apply their knowledge of core subjects when using it? What is the point of teaching English if students cannot apply their knowledge of core subjects when using it? Oh. Those are core subjects.

Definitely! I'll say that pedagogy comes first, technology second.
